checking update history is a good start, but i also look for visible patch notes, active support replies, and whether the same bugs get fixed across devices. if a platform won’t say what changed and when, i assume it’s on autopilot. i tried

once and what annoyed me wasn’t wins or losses, it was that i couldn’t find clear version notes or maintenance updates anywhere. even a simple changelog and a status page goes a long way for trust.
